Now, it does not happen in spiderman, but that game limits itself to 6.2 GB VRAM on 8 GB GPUs and instead uses 2-3 RAM as a substitute for some reason. There's something wonky/broken with newer drives and DX12 games that when your VRAM is strolling around the maximum budget, it starts to use these rainbow textures instead. I managed to replicate the exact same problem in RDR 2 too, by having just enough VRAM to excess the budget (in rdr2's case, 7.3 GB) It also happens in tiny tina's wonderlands. Rainbow textures in fh5 is caused when game breaches 6.5-6.6 gb vram on 8 gb GPUs. Might be nice for some users if they actually fixed issues in between AAA game releases instead of just focusing on grd drivers with multiple issues ![]()
